Our Pedagogy
Every tutor at JJT is a graduate of NUS, NTU, SMU, or an overseas equivalent. Every one of them also sits a structured interview, a teaching demo, and a six-week probation before stepping into a classroom of ours.
But credentials only tell us they can do the work. What we hire for, finally, is whether they can see the student in front of them: listen, diagnose, and adapt. Tutors who can't do that don't stay.

Active since 2021, Junior anchors JJT's teaching culture: precise Math diagnosis, sharp Chinese coaching, and the kind of patient follow-through that keeps students moving after confidence has cracked.

Bryan builds the scaffolding behind every grade jump, turning intimidating Physics and Math into clean mental models students can actually carry into the exam hall.
Active since 2021, Bryan pairs rigorous problem-solving with a calm, structured teaching style. He's the co-founder who obsesses over the "why" behind each method, so students stop memorising and start understanding.

NTU Chinese Studies graduate. Native bilingual, taught at a top SAP school for four years before joining JJT. Leads our 口试 prep cohort.
Biology
SMU Biology & Biochemistry, then a year teaching in a JC. Specialises in diagram-heavy answers and the molecular biology students dread.
English & GP
First-class honours in English from NUS. Writes for an arts journal on the side, which is exactly the kind of habit you want in your essay tutor.
Computer Science
NUS Computer Science with industry stints at two startups. Reviews student code line by line, bad variable names included.
Chemistry
NTU Chemistry, currently pursuing a PhD in organic synthesis. Gets organic chemistry to click, even for students who'd given up.
Mathematics
Maths Olympiad alum, now in his second year at JJT. The tutor we send when a student is afraid of being wrong out loud.
Geography
NUS Geography with fieldwork credits in Southeast Asia. Loves a good case study, and turns them into the structured answers examiners want to see.
History
SMU History & Politics. Trains students to read sources with suspicion and to write essays that argue, rather than essays that simply describe.
Economics
NUS Economics, ex-RI tutor. Drills evaluation explicitly so it stops being the invisible mark band students leave on the table.
Art & Design
NAFA Fine Arts and a practising painter exhibited locally. Mentors sketchbook development, coursework portfolios and the written component few students enjoy.
Physics
NTU Engineering Physics, now coaching JC H2 students in mechanics and electromagnetism. Builds intuition first, then the maths to back it up.
Biology
NUS Life Sciences, currently a researcher at A*STAR. Brings real-lab context into syllabus content, plus an obsession with neat diagram labelling.
Computer Science
NUS Computing with an interest in competitive programming. Teaches algorithmic thinking before syntax, so students leave knowing why their code works.
